Exports and imports increased by 31.2% and 39.4% in the 2nd quarter, respectively, in nominal terms

Summary

In the 2nd quarter of 2022, according to the flash estimate of International Trade in goods, exports and imports of goods increased by 31.2% and 39.4%, respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year. Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2020, exports grew by 95.5% and imports by 108.3%. Vis-à-vis the 2nd quarter of 2019, the increases were 35.1% and 36.8%, in the same order.

In the 1st quarter of 2022, the year-on-year growth rates were +18.0% and +36.8%, respectively.
